Crowdfunding is a great way to raise money in support of the University of Sydney's research and initiatives.
Unlike other platforms, the University of Sydney’s crowdfunding platform charges no commission and 100% of the money you raise goes directly to your chosen initiative, even if you don’t reach your proposed financial goal.
The Sydney Development Fund team will build your crowdfunding page for you, using your images and campaign description. As the crowdfunding campaigner, you are solely responsible for contacting your networks to achieve your financial goal.
Below are some of the areas the University crowdfunds for:
- Important University research projects
- Innovative University programs
- Raising funds for a specific University area, program or research initiative in celebration of someone's birthday, life or passing.
If you would like to fundraise in memory of a loved one who has recently passed away, please email our Annual Giving Associate Isabella Jean Andrews via email@example.com.
If you encounter any issues making your donation, please call the University of Sydney Gift Hotline on 02 8627 8818.
