Thanks to your generosity, a worthy recipient has been awarded this year's 78ers Legacy Fund Scholarship.

June 15, 2020

Amidst these challenging times, we wanted to share exciting and positive news with you. Hayden, a philosophy student and inspiring advocate for the LGBTIQ+ community, has been awarded the 78ers Legacy Fund Scholarship. Click here to read about our recipient's story of activism, volunteering and the impact of the scholarship.

This scholarship would not have been possible without your support. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity. Your gift is continuing to support students with their education and as they work to advance equality, inclusion and diversity in the field of sexuality.

If you are in a position to do so, please make a gift today to the 78ers Legacy Fund Undergraduate Scholarship to support a worthy student committed to promoting awareness and understanding of issues that may affect people of diverse genders and sexualities. All gifts $2 and above are tax deductible. Make your gift by June 30 2020 to ensure your donation is tax deductible for this financial year.

“It’s meant I’ve been able to buy new shoes, my previous ones all had holes in them. It’s also given me a huge confidence boost and the headspace to focus more on my uni work and activism without the constant financial stress. I know that this scholarship will help me more than financially though. It’s made me realise that my activism in the LGBTIQ+ community makes a positive difference to people and it’s inspired me to continue the work I'm doing. I'd like to say the biggest thank you to all the donors for their support.”

- Hayden, 78ers Legacy Fund Undergraduate Scholarship recipient
