Kristina Hacket was a great friend, colleague and researcher inspiring many of us working in agriculture, veterinary science and the animal health industry. A quiet achiever, Kristina’s impact on many in the animal health sector reached beyond the professional. She was a firm and fierce friend to many of us, and inspired her colleagues towards excellence in science and purposeful collaborations.
After completing a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at the University of Sydney, Kristina pursued her interests in animal husbandry and agriculture by forging a life-long career within the animal health industry. Her endeavours in collaborative research and development resulted in the successful launch of several innovative technologies that improve the health, productivity and welfare of animals to this day.
To honour Kristina Hacket’s dedication to research in the animal health sector, we are seeking funds to establish a merit-based scholarship for women in the fields of agriculture, veterinary and animal sciences. You can acknowledge the impact of Kristina’s passion for animal health research and for helping others by making a tax-deductible donation to the scholarship fund.
A one-off contribution of the annual scholarship amount can be replicated in perpetuity.
